Greenwich Village Tour takes part in the GetYourGuide affiliate programme. When a walk is booked through a link or widget on this site, GetYourGuide may pay this site a small commission. The traveller pays the same as when booking on GetYourGuide directly.
Which links are affiliate links
Every booking button labelled “Book this”, every availability widget and every tour card leads to GetYourGuide with this site’s partner reference attached. Links to other pages on this site, and links to NYC Parks, the National Park Service, the MTA or Village Preservation, are not affiliate links and earn nothing.
What it changes
It pays for the site. It does not decide what is written. Every close-up page says who the walk does not suit, and two of them state that the walk is not suitable for wheelchair users or people with mobility impairments. The free walking tour page describes a tip-based model that GetYourGuide does not sell and that earns this site nothing, and the self-guided route needs no booking at all. The six walks are the six that GetYourGuide sells for the neighbourhood; none was added or left out because of commission.
What this site does not print
No prices and no figures from traveller feedback appear on this site. Prices change by date and option, so the live widget on each page carries the current one. Traveller first names and themes on the close-up pages are taken from GetYourGuide as printed there. Tour operators are not named.
